You kinda forgot how much people are offput by furries that lead very human lives until you see a comic posted on a nonfurry site. I’ve read all three of these comics so far and all three have the question “why are they animals” or “what does being animals add?” which strikes me as a super weird question. What being humans add? Why should something have to be human as the default? Is there some sort of base level human and adding anything on top of that have to be for a reason? But like apparently there’s three main things about it that set people off.
If they arn’t obviously animal shaped or cartoony, people are confused and offput.
If they have human hair on top of their fur, people are confused and offput.
If they live a perfectly modern life with clothes and tv, people are confused and offput.
And yes I have the bias of being a furry. But I can’t wrap my head around why people find this so weird and confusing. Its just animal people.
Like if you though Zootopia was a furry movie now, just imagine the alternate universe where Judy and Nick had human proportions and hair non movies would be absolutely disgusted by the movie based on comments.
(all this said I’m changing nothing about how I choose to draw stuff)
