I really dislike when people say “SplatoonDLC” instead of Update. Calling it DLC implies so many different things than whats actually going on.
Most of the “dlc” is already in the game’s information it’s just that it is not given out to the public whenever nintendo flips the switch for it to be publicized
That wasn’t really what I was getting at. My point was that I think calling it “dlc” is inappropriate because calling it DLC implies to someone who’s out of the loop that you have to buy it. Even if you call it “FreeDLC” it implies having to go out of your way to download it from a menu or store.
Calling it dlc doesn’t match what actually happens when you turn on the game and the updates already roll in.
