What's making you reconsider?

Well theres gen eds I don’t care about but thats any major.

The game classes we do have don’t feel very well thought out and it doesn’t seem like anything is nearly as focused as it should be. All the students who are near the end of the course don’t seem to be very fulfilled by the classes.

I’m not even sure how much a degree in gamedesign actually even goes towards getting a job in the industry since GameDesign education is still so young.

It feels like the students are teaching ourselves and eachother more than the skill can. Which I suppose is arguably the point, but if that’s the case why am I paying for this. I could just get all the people I like and we start teaching ourselves and work on projects.

Even though I’m going to a cheaper school I still gonna have to deal with debt after I’m done and I’m not entirely confident in how I can deal with that.

But on the other hand, just like I don’t know how much a degree helps, I’m not too sure how far I can get without one either.
