I try to not think about the Maximum Impact games, but you may be right.
It’s funny, Maximum Impact 2 in particular is actually a pretty competent fighting game, but the Falcoon splattered all over it makes me cringe, between the new characters and the alternate outfits.
The only character I remember having a good alternate outfit was Terry, but Falcoon didn’t design that one; it was just his Mark of the Wolves outfit.
Even then in the case of Terry’s MOTW outfit it was treated as a different character outright rather than his “another” outfit; same thing with Kyo and his classic pre-NESTS version.
I think the only character that had a good “another” outfit on that one was Geese with his awesome suit.
Oh, did they? Wow.
Geese rocks that suit, though. I wonder who designed it, it’s not showing enough midriff for Falcoon.
Don’t forget Rock and Iori’s Last Blade outfits, and Terry’s Sol Badguy cosplay.
Leona straight up had EVA Rei and Asuka Plugsuits as well as Heidern. B. Jenet has Elena of from Street Fighter. Rock had an Last Blade cosplay too. Like I swear, Max Impact might have well been called KOF does Cosplay and tries to do it without copyright infringement.
Why does that UI look more like a PS2 wrestling game than a fighting game?

If you’re talking about the game I think you’re talking about SBFP basically used that fisticuffs to show all of the outfits and I don’t think I laughed harder a lot of them and I’m not even all that familiar with KOF
I'm SkunkStripe/Rayne and this is my main tumblr page thing where I will basically post everything I draw and occasionally shit about fighting games
