I don’t understand stuff about adult fans somehow taking shows away from kids. Kids for the most part just watch a show. Thats it they watch it and ask their parents to buy stuff from it.

Adults nitpicking and analyzing it and all the other shit adult parts of fandoms do not affect a kids ability to watch and enjoy a show at all. The most it will do is that maybe the writers will add a joke or two only fans will get.

The only part that can effect kids is the porn.If your kid is under 13 they should not be on the Internet without some level of super vision. I say that as an uncle and cousin of a lot of kids. In my experience as a kid (and what some of them admitted to me) once they are about 13 is when they will start looking for the stuff on the internet out of curiosity and sexual discovery. At which point seeing porn of a cartoon character would probably be come closer to sexual awakening then something that’ll scar them.
