BioWare’s new logo looks like a shovelware software company from the 1990’s.
Good lord, they’re really riding the whole ‘use our support for the LBGT community to deflect criticism’ train to the last station, aren’t they
I both love and hate this from a design standpoint. On one hand, it looks terrible. On the other hand it really does look like the old ass logo of some software company and that’s kinda nostalgic.
Ya'know.
I would go and say something like “Ubisoft not including any female characters in unity followed by making the world’s most half assed excuse was a ploy to purposefully anger people. Then the angry people would bring up liberation and start buy hundreds of copies of liberation in protest to prove that they want female characters (and also cause the game is cheap now). Thus giving them the guaranteed revenue of unity plus this rush of digital liberation purchases.”

That plan is both far too smart and far too stupid at the same time. So I’m just gonna say its a really really strange turn of events.
I really think the idea of “feels” has undermined actual emotion in writing a bit. At least on places like tumblr anyway. People seem to make bad things happen just for the sake of “feels” without much rhyme or reason to it sometimes, and it doesn’t help that people seem to actually respond to it like “why do you give me such feels” “or *artist* is gonna rip out all our hearts” Which really feeds into this trend.
Or maybe I’m just an asshole. This is just what I think anyway
