Let me give some advice. Advice I haven’t actually put into practice myself but other people have told me to do it.

 When you are given any sort of writing project try to write a set number of words a day. If you have two weeks to write a 4 page paper and you write maybe a thousand or so words each day for the paper you’ll be able to consistently knock out a chunk of the work each day .Its not terribly large amount of words so you don’t lose much out of your day. 

Don’t worry about what the words are exactly because doing this properly should allow for revision time later. Write first, revise later. (much like this post).

 Trust me, procrastinating feels like shit, and this is a really nice way to handle it.

Basically I just think genderlocked classes (and to a lesser extent, races) are a bad mmo design concept.

News Flash: one idiot in 4chan doesn’t represent the whole gaming community.

If I may add. As much as I LOVE female characters. I am not a fan of genderlocked classes. It can be frustrating when you want to be say the swordsman and you have to be a girl because you aren’t comfortable presenting yourself as something you’re not (and the same applies to people when they have to be a guy). Some MMOS do this and its frustrating for all sides.

DFO for example had all the classes gender locked originally (they’re sort of characters too at the same time as being classes). Their gunslinger was originally guy only, people were a lot happier when they made the female version of the gunslinger so they could still be the same class but with the gender they wanted. They also did this for the fighter and mage.

Though people being upset with this mostly applies to MMOs I have no idea what game this guy is talking about.

Finally got around to doodling the 5night at freddy cast (and some other dude) though I didn’t have any refrences since it was during class.

A set of characters I’m working on. I’m not too experienced in drawing chubbier characters so I’m not sure if the rabbit on the end, Carmella, turned out very well. But hopefully I’ll have all this colored by the end of the day.

So! That previous picture was of course made by me, but I’m happy to see that some people thought it might be an actual leaked storyboard - since my goal was to make it look as “authentic” as possible.

Above are the steps to making it look like a photographed screen. First up is the original digital drawing made with my usual pencil brush. Then I put a blue gradient (set to “multiply”) and a grain filter above it. Flattened the picture and skewed it (added black background), put a motion blur filter on it (2 times on two layers and erased through so it wouldn’t be the same blurriness everywhere). And finally added a white-to-black gradient on top, set to “overlay” and on lowered opacity, for that flash effect.

I tried to make it look like the animatic storyboards we’ve seen so far and avoid my own style, but alas, some things just shine through. On one hand, good for recognition, on the other, bad if i don’t want to be recognized. Oh well.

The dialogue and actions are a slightly modified version of a scene from the latest episode of TMNT 2012 (as some have noticed), because it was pretty cute and I thought that if they’re ever gonna imply more Sparity in the show (oh please!), this would work perfectly.

If anyone wants to animate or cleanup the whole thing, feel free to do so XD

And since some people speculated if I might be working with the show now…I wish! Still the same starving freelance artist.

I don’t get why whenever homestuck fans post homestuck stuff they have to apologize and people are like “if you post homestuck without tagging it I’ll unfollow you” and all that others hit.

Everyone else does their thing all year round, but only this group everyone is all “oh no” when they occasionally start posting. Its real bullshit and really unfair.
