Yes, she came up with the idea and yes she has rights to it, however I find that it’s unfair for her to go around telling others that they cannot create their own tentacle ponies due to the fact that it’s her concept and a “closed species”. That’s like having Hasbro claim that you aren’t allowed to create colorful pony characters -with or without credit- simply because it was their idea first. It just doesn’t seem right.
Look, I understand that as an artist, you’d like to keep credit for your idea within your control, however you shouldn’t limit a person’s artistic freedom because of it. I’m sure many of her friends & admirers will most likely disagree, but this is my honest opinion on the matter.

haha, this is like a dumb thought process.
Oh hey, I was wondering when this fandom would get it’s own fucking Zeriara.
I dunno about you, but I think I could live without another fucking Zurdurdur in the world.
Slightly unrelated but…
Oh my god I am so happy I’m not the only one who was riding the Zeriara drama back in the day.
Who’s the Snapesnogger? Oh oh, is it Jay? Is it Jay?! I bet it is!
“THE HOOF PART IS NOT LUMPY!!!”
How exactly does this person stop other people from making tentacle ponies? It’s not like he can copyright it or anything becuase it’s already pretty much pony. Does he just bitch at you?
I’d do it anyway. You can’t claim the concept of tentacles!
