I have no idea what the hell what I was doing but I decided to sketch the weirdest Scootaloo I could at 1PM
I’m almost done with this character sketch but god is it hard to draw shoes from a frontal angle.
So my friend tells me of this dumb furry fighting game and apparently (so they say) they got a lot of talent on the team and a good chunk of development goes into the art assets…
…so why are the character designs so horrible? I mean you have the entire animal kingdom to play with here and the best you can do is make everyone look like some kind of dog? This dude here? The main dude? He’s apparently a fucking bear. I could have sworn he was a wolf or something.
My point here is, character design plays a big part in shit like this. I’m not gonna sit here and say I’m a pro at designing characters or anything but these dudes are just so painfully generic and lack that touch of individuality and overall attitude in how they look. They look generic, their outfits seem like an afterthought, and nothing about how they look seems to tell you anything about their personality, or even how they’d fight. They’re just really uninspired furry bullshit.
I did my own take on one of the female characters, Matilda , and tried to give her a look that I felt illustrated what I would have aimed for, personally.
I don’t really gaf about this game so this is mainly a longwinded way of me saying the designs really suck and it’s basically a more Furaffinity/DeviantART version of an already terrible Brutal Paws of Fury
I agree I don’t like their art style at all.
You’re version of the design though? That’s fantastic, I would definitely play that. This Also reminds me that I need to get back to designing my own fighters.

Phyllis actually likes Pete too but she knows her sister Pelly likes him so she doesn’t want to hurt her by dating him. Therefore, she acts like she hates him so he’ll take the hint and stop flirting with her and maybe notice Pelly instead, but he never does.
