There’s a lot of people (either people who don’t understand the concept of a main or hate the idea of having a main) who will get mad if you keep beating them with the same character, while they keep changing characters.
In a lot of cases they believe the winning player (the one sticking to one characters) is less skilled because he can only win with that character. At the same time they believe that they (the losing player who keeps switching characters) are a more skilled player because they know (or think they know) how to use more characters. So then they get resentful of the winning player because they perceive a less skilled player is beating them.

I’d have to watch it again, that part left me pretty confused.
So there’s only one turn off about splatoon that’s kind of annoying (unless I misunderstood it) and that’s that only 2 maps are available at a time. Like for an entire 4 hours there’s only 2 maps out of like 6 available until the next 4 hours where those two maps will be replaced with a new 2 maps.
