I feel like 3d cartoons really need to work on how empty environments feel most of the time. Maybe its just me, but 3d makes it much more clear when an area is shockingly empty. Makes places seem more like a level from a PS2 game than an environment I’m supposed to believe people live in. Even ones I think look good like Lady bug still have this issue.

Hi! Thanks so much for liking my art! ;w; I’m not quite sure about a full on tutorial since most of the time i don’t quite know what I’m doing (as most of us are lmao)

SO i put on a step by step on my coloring process instead!

I will be using my OC Haru as the test subject. A friend asked me to draw him in this monster hunter headwear (if you’re wondering)

Here we go!

I use the air brush tool and use a new layer with color dodge setting.

I use Clip Studio Paint, so the option is in:
Edit >> Tonal Correction >> Tone Curve

aaaaaand you’re done! My coloring is pretty simple

Hope this was helpful!

One of these days Fur affinity will let me upload shit to it, and I will be happy.

well more happy than I currently am anyway.

Had to upload this as a jpeg instead of PNG because of file size. I’m not sure how big a difference it is but the PNG can be found here on DA http://exranion.deviantart.com/art/Hibri-580246437

So on multiple occasions I have had arguments with people about unlocking things in games. Specifically in multiplayer. The argument is mostly about whether you should have to unlock stuff or unlock it all at the beginning.

I am personally on the side that unlocking guns/characters is only an impediment as a player and does absolutely nothing to serve me as a player.  That is only keeping me from using what I actually want ‘to use while wasting my time.

The other side sometimes suggests that this desire is just wanting everything handed to you and not having to work for it. Though I question why I should have to work for the G18 with whatever sight at all. What about any gun make it somehow worth having to be unlocked. If you’re putting proper work to balance your game no gun should be intentionally worth more. (of course no game can be perfectly balanced, that’s not possible without making everyone have the same starting loadout every match)

Some suggest that the sense of progression and gives them more reason to play the game yet because they haven’t unlocked everything yet. Which I find a weird idea because the game should be fun enough to keep wanting to play in the first place. I shouldn’t keep coming back to Battlefield to unlock every gun and accessory, I should be coming back just because its fun enough to want to play.

But that’s my stance on all this and my personal thoughts on games.
