I’m gonna be honest I still don’t think its really time for the next animal crossing game.
and I appreciate the spin-offs instead of trying to just release a new one too soon.
Yes I’m aware that newleaf was 4 years ago but I don’t really think AC is the easiest game to make sequels for. You really have to find the right way to expand upon it without just seeming like an update.
I like how this came out but I think I’m still not getting the the proportions of arm length right constantly. I think both arms here might be a bit longer than they’re supposed to be.
Any advice for practicing how to get that right more often (and this is a sketch so you can ignore the missing foot)

I wanna work on rounder cartoonier muzzles for my characters and also giving characters more dephth of body, I often don’t know what to do for the body from the side and characters get really thin on side views
It depends on the degree of humanization or cartoonization you utilize, but if you do only have one eye to work with it quite limits your facial expressions. It’s a pain
Yeah you really have to adjust what your going for. and whats the most important thing the eye can be doing when theres only one to work with. On the bright side furries come with a lot more body parts to emote with.
And I really do want to work on making my art style a bit cartoonier at least when it comes to characters muzzles/snouts.
One of the weirder complaints about cartoon reboots is people that seem upset that characters have smart phones.
I mean what are we just supposed to not acknowledge we’re in the year 2016?
