So today I asked myself “If a trans deer started taking testosterone to transition would he get bigger antlers?”
So I searched “Doe Antlers” and according to the few articals I read Doe with larger than usual antlers have them because of an extra rush of testosterone that could happen due to several reasons.
So basically yes. That is exactly what would happen. So if you’re making an anthro (or non anthro I guess) trans deer that’s using testosterone they’d get bigger antlers.
You’ve been scrolling for 5 hours, but somehow you are still on the same post
This is a loot more sexual than most things I post on tumblr, but this is the safe version so its okay I guess
ENJOY THE BUTTs and if you decide you do want to see the gross version head to this super NSFW place
This tutorial contains tips about writing for webcomics, with my caveat that I’m not formally trained in any of this stuff~~ This is all just my personal observations and tips from the past 10 years of putting comics online, but they’ve served me pretty well so far! For some examples of this info applied to my own work, feel free to check out my webcomics at The Meek and Mare Internum.
All of my tutorials are released in lower-res format to the public 6 months after
publication at the Shingworks Patreon. You can access the full tutorial archive, as well as nearly 1.5
years worth of bonus content, by becoming a Patron :] I just wrapped up a two part tutorial about building and launching Patreons, good times.
and thanks in advance for not removing my text <3
Every once in a while, I get asked for advice about starting and writing webcomics and mostly I just start laughing nervously while desperately looking for an escape route, so I’m always really excited to see people way more experienced than me laying it out.
Was mucking about with the idea of regional forms. Tried to make her
weird ear hair thing look like a big puffy Russian fur coat for ladies.
One of those times I start drawing thinking “this is great,” halfway
through think “eh, I’ll do better next time,” and end it thinking it’ll
take a few drawings to get it just right.
i just want to say, for people reblogging this, that this is called the “rule of thirds” and the tips i wrote here by no means are things that you HAVE to do! these are just tips i use for myself, i kind of made up the bubble rule and i dont even know if im using the rule right haha so there theres that! i just like to use it so i know my bubbles have a place to go
examples of me using rule of thirds to separate elements in “Rachael and Penny”
i got the information a long time ago from a thread on penciljack called Storytelling 101, specifically this image
there is tons of information on rule of thirds available, i know eyecager has a post that dips into it ….
This is also hella useful for photography composition, especially for landscape and architecture shots
I'm SkunkStripe/Rayne and this is my main tumblr page thing where I will basically post everything I draw and occasionally shit about fighting games
